Software TechnologistJob Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Develop and promote and API way of working for all the services of Philips IT. You would be participating in an initiative that is considered strategic for Philips IT.
As Philips grows into becoming the frontrunner and trusted ‘Go To company for solutions and services across the continuum of care and health, its Enterprise IT architecture will be increasing interwoven with its product architecture. In such a circumstance a platform way of thinking needs to promote a Philips (Enterprise IT) API way of working with a set of orchestration capabilities that decouples us from vendor API and vendor specific orchestration only. A platform way of thinking combined with an optimal decomposition and a micro services architecture should also enable a better trade-off between a ‘build vs buy compared to a ‘buy only approach for functional capabilities offered.
As part of our platform approach, the Philips API way of working will expect working with API management platforms, integration platforms, Cloud API gateways, API documentation tools that are often a combination of 3rd party tools and custom designs.
