The Cloud Supply Chain Sustainability Operations team under CSCS is at the center of the company’s Circular Economy strategy for Azure data center hardware. CSCSmanages the end-to-end disposition of Data Center (DC) hardware originating from decommissions, excess & overage from Spares, & Deployment as well as onespecial dispositionsfrom throughout the company. The capacity needed to support the Microsoft Cloud decommissions is undergoing explosive growth (100%+ y/y) as customers around the world realize the benefits of moving their services and applications to cloud based platforms. This explosive growth requires us to build out capacity on a global scale to keep up with demand. The CSCS Operations organization provides the core infrastructure needed for dispositioning the Data Center (DC) hardware. The CSCS Operations organization manages the after decommission disposition routes.This Lead role will assist with managing the team supporting day to day operations. Core priorities will ensure maintaining high quality of work, ensuring accountability and response time SLAs, delivering projects on time and to stakeholder expectations, clearly communicating blockers, providing regular standardized report outs with analytics on status and milestones, managing escalations, coaching, and delivering immediate feedback to the team, as well as facilitating proactive mitigations for any blocked or at-risk items.
