Hiring for Urban Co-operative Credit Society
Position: Branch Manager / Operation Manager
Education: BBA / / MBA
Experience: Min 5 Years of Experience in Banking / Loan / Co-operative Credit Society
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic and financial plan
  • Lead the Field Staff in conducting market research and survey Activities.
  • Supervise and monitor the daily activities of the Branch.
  • Develop and maintain a harmonious working relationship among staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluation of Branch, and recommend any promotion or Termination to the Territory.
  • Ensure the safekeeping of all cash, documents, and accountable forms in the possession of the Branch.
  • Ensure 100% on-time collection of loan amortizations among the branch. Develop a working culture of zero tolerance on missed loan payments.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination with supporting Internal Departments

Profit Centre Management:

  • Managing complete profit business operations with accountability for profitability forecasting monthly/annual targets & executing them in the given time frame as per organizational planning
  • Strategizing the long term business directions of the region to ensure maximum profitability in line with organizational objectives
  • Coordinating budgets, forecasts and reports & accordingly effectuating business plans to attain maximum sales and optimum revenue.

Credit and Loan Administration

  • Appraising proposals, conducting risk analysis & scrutinizing relevant documents before sanctioning/disbursing loans, ensuring compliance with bank’s credit policies
  • Supervising approval of loan proposals & sanctioning credits after appraising solvency status & verifying documents as well as post-sanction follow-up and disbursal of loan.
  • Handling post-approval activities such as account opening & closure, loan postponements, underwriting, processing of release letters for approved loans & disbursement.
  • Formulating effective debt collection mechanisms and coordinating with concerned executives for ensuring timely receipt of money from clients & recovery of bad debts.

Office Operations

  • Managing complete Office operations with a key focus on top-line and bottom-line profitability by ensuring optimal utilization of available resources
  • Taking adequate measures for maintaining a balance between the available funds and the requirement, meeting pre-set revenue/profitability norms.
  • In the Bank activates overseeing cash operation entailing reconciliation of other Bank or finance accounts, ensuring have advocate cash for operation.
  • Managing entire office and Hole branch controlling and administrative decision
  • Overseen office and operations in co-operation with team members, supervision and controlling the inter-branch transactions.
  • Conducting the board meeting and submission the report of the Board meeting related financial report and the progress and development of the Bank.
  • Conducting concurrent audit/internal audit of branch

Office Activities

  • Overseeing cash operations entailing reconciliation of cash count; ensuring registers have adequate cash for operations.
  • Handling receipt of a variety of payments and other cash and cash-related transactions; verifying and posting the same to appropriate accounts
